Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of global logistics programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will drive projects, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure alignment of results with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead logistics programs from inception to completion by working with project sponsors, extended and core teams to deliver results on time
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, influencing positive outcomes and ensuring results are aligned with company’s goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders that could be based in different geographies.
- Ensure that all logistics programs are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate program/project status, risks, and changes effectively to stakeholders including, but not limited to, senior leadership teams.
- Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks to ensure minimum disruption to logistics project/program.
- Ensure that all logistics programs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Facilitate key business decisions through effective mediation and influence.
- Ensure successful execution of projects including complex programs within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience and a successful track record of delivering projects in areas such as logistics, warehouse management, transportation, or other supply chain functions.
- Strong project management skills and strong user of formal project management tools.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders spread across geographies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity and experience working with supply chain systems like SAP, WMS, TMS.
