Responsiblities
Under the supervision of qualified patent attorneys to perform the following:
- Drafting, filing, and prosecution of patent applications in Singapore, China, US, PCT and other countries;
- Patent portfolio management
- Freedom-To-Operate search and analysis;
- Patentability search and analysis;
- Patent document translation (for candidates proficient in a second language)
Requirement
- Engineering or Science Degree(s) preferably in the following fields: Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Materials Science;
- With stronge interests and commitments in developing a career in the patent attorney profession;
- Able and willing to work independently and proactively and under pressure;
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written;
- Preferably fluent in both English and Chinese at a professional level, e.g., able to read and write technical documents in both languages;
- Working experience in relevant fields an addded advantage, e.g., in the IP service sector, R&D, Technical support, and/or manufacturing.
