Job Description
The Department of Communications and New Media at the National University of Singapore invites applications for educator-track positions at the Senior Lecturer rank, with expertise in three or more of the following areas: three or more of the following areas: interactive writing, data journalism, digital/transmedia storytelling, media production, corporate communication, public relations, campaign management, social media PR, public relations writing; art business & management; data arts; use experience design;
The position requires a doctorate in Communication or a closely related discipline by date of appointment; evidence of excellent teaching; approximately three (3) years of teaching experience in higher education settings; and experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds including international students as well as adult and professional learners in both online and face-to-face classrooms.
Successful candidates are expected to teach five (5) courses per academic year. Successful candidates will be expected to teach in the Communications and New Media undergraduate programme, Master by Coursework programmes. Other duties include supervision of honours students and graduate students, and administrative service.
