As the Tax Senior/Tax Assistant Manager reporting to the Tax Partner/Tax Director, you'll play a crucial role in leading a team of tax professionals and ensuring compliance services for our clients. Here's a detailed outline of your responsibilities:
1. Review and File Tax Returns: Oversee the review and filing process for Singapore corporate tax and individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
2. Team Leadership: Provide supervision and guidance to your team of tax staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality output.
3. Support to Tax Director: Assist the Tax Director, particularly on ad hoc assignments, and collaborate to meet annual filing deadlines effectively.
4. Client Interaction: Address queries raised by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), manage tax audits and investigations, and promptly respond to technical and customer tax queries.
5. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as a proactive team player within your department and across other departments, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional client service.
6. Client Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax and personal clients, including local and international entities spanning various industries.
7. FATCA and CRS Reporting: Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with FATCA and CRS reporting, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations.
8. Timely Client Communication: Respond promptly to clients' questions and efficiently handle their tax queries, maintaining strong client relationships.
