JAPAN RAIL CAFE is looking for a Kitchen Supervisor (head chef) to direct the kitchen operations team, and also develop new food menus suitable for our cafe's concept.

We're looking for ambitious new hires who can bring us good & new service value, and provide good management at JAPAN RAIL CAFE. We're really looking forward to working with you!


Job Responsibilities

  • Overall kitchen operations
  • Customer service (communication, serving, cleaning)
  • Monitoring food quality and quantity to ensure profit margins are maintained
  • Ensure compliance with SFA regulations
  • Stock management
  • Supporting the manager in training for kitchen operation
  • Supporting the manager in ordering the food ingredients
  • Food expiry date management
  • Waste management
  • Supporting the manager for developing & installing new menus

Job Requirements


(Must)

  • Kitchen operation experience
  • F&B operation experience
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Have a cheerful mind and good sense of hospitality
  • Be a team-player who can readily handle a fast-paced working environment

(Good to Have)

  • Prior management experience in Kitchen and/or F&B Operations
  • Knowledge and experience in cooking/developing Japanese-style cuisine
