Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage departmental budget expenditure and staff headcount.
- Ensure workplace safety and health within the department.
- Lead and oversee the reduction and closure of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Ensure departmental compliance with Company's Management Systems (MS), policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
- Responsible for staff development and training to ensure optimal competency.
- Supervise and manage departmental budget expenditure and staff headcount.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in the chemical manufacturing sector, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Experience in handling or participation in ISO certification processes.
- Proficient in chemical plant management with a strong working knowledge.
- Familiarity with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) regulations.
