Job Description
- Develop, implement, maintain and improve Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) and risk management (RM) plans
- Lead daily Toolbox meeting, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training and all other initiatives or activities to maintain a high level of safety at worksite
- Ensure compliance and practice of Company QEHS Management System for the
- project
- Advice to our employees reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace or may be affected by the occupier’s undertaking in the workplace
- Manage incidents; investigations, recommend corrective actions and follow-up on the implementations and effectiveness of actions taken
- Liaise and communicate well with site operations staffs, project managers, contractors and third parties on all safety and health issues
- Ensure that all statutory regulations, code of practice and company’s EHS rules and regulations are implemented and complied with at the project site
- Conduct regular inspection and audits on the EHS provisions on site
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirement
- At least 3 years WSH experience in construction industry
- Specialist Diploma / Degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety related qualifications
- Registered MOM Workplace Safety and Health Officer
- NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (preferred)
- Familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001
- Strong competencies in results orientation, adaptability, effective intelligence, leadership, and teamwork.
- Able to work 6 days a week
