Our Drilling Services AMO Team is best at maintaining the latest products of drilling equipment in Baker Hughes. We collaborate with our service delivery teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.

As the Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO) Technician, you're to troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies. You're also to review procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy. You're to assist in the preparation, development, and enhancement of maintenance procedural documentation within the Drilling Services team
As the AMO Technician, you will be responsible for:
· Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling (Parts & Equipment) and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
· Configurating test stations and systems. Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests.
· Providing solutions to difficult technical problems. Perform inspection and disposition of parts & equipment.
· Assisting in setting up experiments and recording experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups
· Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
· Evaluating maintenance processes for potential improvements in quality, reliability, turnaround times and costs. Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
· Have ITE or Technical diploma in mechatronics, electrical & electronic, mechanical engineering or Equivalent.
· Have ability to read, write & speak English language.
· Have maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function or in relevant industrial experience (aerospace, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic).
· Fresh graduate with above qualification is encouraged to apply.
· Have proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
· Have excellent soldering and assembling skills.
· Have analytical ability to find solutions towards complex technical issues.
· Have demonstrate systematic approach towards troubleshooting.
