Job Summary
The Senior / Sales Engineer is mainly responsible for executing sales & marketing initiatives, engaging new customers and maintaining the relationship with existing accounts in order to bring in revenue for the Precision Robotics Business Group.
Job Responsibilities
To achieve and/or exceed sales and profit margin targets in assigned growth location/segment/customers, key responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Development of sales strategy and implementation of tactical plan.
- Identification of key/target accounts/industry segment.
- Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, through prompt updating of opportunities management tracking and account development planning.
- Develop new customer accounts through sales and marketing activities.
- Expand sales portfolio to all existing and new potential customers.
- Supporting any marketing related activities to improve the presence and customer knowledge of our Precision Robotic Products
- Providing customer feedback to the Research and Development team and Business Group management.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
People Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience with Industrial clients (i.e. B2B), 5 years of experience is needed for the senior position.
- Prior experience in the automation or robotics industry is preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or Equivalent
- Field sales experience is vital. Proven ability to interact directly with a sales organization, understand customer needs and influence them.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and maintain high level of Sales Discipline
