Job Description:
The Advocacy Intern will be attached to the Research and Advocacy Department (RAD). The intern will help with projects that the RAD undertakes, and will be exposed to public education, advocacy and research in a social service setting. These projects evolve around themes, such as child abuse and neglect prevention, child participation, children mental well-being and positive parenting. The intern is also expected to work alongside the team in organising events for both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate in mass communication and related fields.
- Has good writing skills and possesses a strong ability in promotional and publicity campaign work.
- Has a flair for marketing and publishing on social media platforms and content generation.
- Has a heart for social causes and issues faced by children, youth and their families.
- Knowledge of basic design work, e.g. infographics, illustration, simple video and sound editing, is a plus
Work Arrangement:
- FULL-TIME internship only
- Minimum 3 months duration
- Work location will be our RAD office at Bishan Junction 8 office building
