Job Description:
- Secretariat for WSH & Fire Safety Committee responsible for organizing and documenting meeting notes for all related sessions.
- Conduct and drive WSH & Fire Safety programme initiatives
- Conduct emergency evacuation drills and Table-Top Exercises (TTX) to evaluate, together with the Fire Safety Committee, the effectiveness of the various emergency plans.
- Coordinate the WSH and Fire Safety routine meetings in compliance to CDG PMG and statutory requirements including formalizing the action plans. Maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate the routine WSH & Fire Safety, internal and external audits including rectification works required to close any audit findings.
- Coordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) in first-aid, firefighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies.
- Coordinate the timely submission of WSH and Fire Safety incidents and accidents for all MOM and SCDF reportable and non-reportable cases.
- Maintain all the incident records and to provide periodic analytical insights to the incidents and accidents.
- Establish processes for regular WSH and Fire Safety information with stakeholders.
- Review WSH and Fire Safety submission reports to the statutory regulators and coordinate the mandatory routine tests in compliance to statutory requirements.
- Review investigation findings to identify causes of incidents and accidents, propose corrective and preventive measures.
- Review non-compliances, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH and Fire Safety performance gaps, ensuring timely risk assessments, effective control measures, and updated risk information.
- Prepare, coordinate and execute Emergency Response Plan (ERP) documentation, drills and oversee the maintenance of emergency response equipment to ensure compliance to ERP also oversee the fire safety maintenance.
- Upkeep the WSH and Fire Safety portal and ensure the contents are regularly updated.
Job Requirements:
- Designated WSHO and/or FSM, as mandated under Ministry of Manpower (MOM) WSH Act and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) Fire Code.
- Must have both WSH Officer certificate and Fire Safety Manager certificate registered with Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) with at least 5 years of relevant experience as WSHO and FSM.
- Sound planning and organizing skills, with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time.
- A good team player with good communication and interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders across all levels and able to work independently at the same time.
