Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading Japanese Manufacturing Company. They are actively looking for Purchasing Coordinator to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing purchase requisition & sourcing of goods in meeting the requirements of internal customers
- Evaluate and control the performance of machining sub-contractors/suppliers
- Regular monitoring and update to requestors and the arrival of goods
- Negotiate contracts, keeping within budgetary requirements
- Assists in planning and managing inventory levels as well as providing general administrative and quality management support
- Compilation of monthly KPI
- To meet all order fulfillment for material planning
- Work with Production and various engineering departments to ensure customer order is met
- Communicate with customers (sales) on order related issues
- Monitor, prepare, and present On Time Delivery performance trend
- Work with other departments on continual improvement of planning process
- Conduct annual evaluation of major suppliers and subcon
- Update AVL list quarterly
- Ensure any errors in the ERP are corrected before every end of the month and or before generating the WIP report
- Updating the ERP system once PO is issued
- Maintain documentation system up to date as per ISO requirements
- Ensure that all statutory regulations, company’s environmental and safety regulations and code of practice are implemented and complied with by all staff
- Responsible for the provision of safe and healthy working environment for all staff
- Any other task instructed by your superior
The Requirements:
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, or have completed an internship of at least one year in a similar role
- Demonstrates a strong enthusiasm for clerical role
- Must be keen to liaise with suppliers from time-to-time
