Job Descriptions:
- Familiar with and understanding all the tender requirements
- Exercise a collaborative plan and define the extent of the works
- Timely management of tender activities
- The general duty includes measurement of quantity, collection quotations, cost comparison, and participation in preparing tender price
- Review quotations with the designated specification
- Review quantities and cross-check for possible items that may have been overlooked
- Proofreading for tender responses to highlight areas for incorporation of quantity and ensure issuance to stakeholders to quote for works
- Price negotiations with subcontractors/partners.
- Review of cost impact (value engineering proposal/ variations)
- Able to manage/lead the team and assign tasks to the team members respectively
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in the local building construction industry. Main contractor experience is preferred
- Experience in tendering work.
- Sound computer literacy including advanced skills in Excel. Proficient in Cubicost Glodon will be a plus.
- Familiar with all types of building tendering will be advantageous
- Bilingual will be advantageous
