Here are the key responsibilities:
1. Photographing Decorative Glass Samples:
• Capture high-quality images of each decorative glass sample. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that the unique characteristics of each piece—whether it’s the delicate swirls in a stained glass window or the intricate textures of a laminated glass panel—are clearly visible.
• Use photography equipment to achieve optimal lighting, focus, and color accuracy.
2. Cataloguing:
• Create a comprehensive digital catalogue of all our decorative glass samples. This catalogue should be organised logically and intuitively.
• Include essential details for each sample, such as:
• Type of glass (e.g., wire mesh glass, fabric laminated glass, textured glass)
• Color variations
• Texture (smooth, textured, frosted, etc.)
• Dimensions
• Any other distinguishing features
• Ensure that the catalogue is easy to update as new samples are added to our collection.
3. Digital Asset Management:
• Organize and maintain a digital library of all decorative glass images. This includes:
• Properly naming files for easy retrieval
• Creating folders or categories based on glass type, color, or other relevant criteria
• Backing up files to prevent data loss
• Ensuring that files are accessible to team members
4. Image Editing:
• Use image editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop) to enhance photos. Adjust brightness, contrast, and color balance to accurately represent the physical samples.
• Remove any imperfections or distractions from the images.
• Create consistent and visually appealing images across the entire collection.
5. Virtual Staging:
• Superimpose images of our art glass onto different interior settings. This will allow potential clients and designers to visualize how the glass would look in various contexts.
• Showcase the versatility of our art glass by placing it in residential or commercial spaces, such as windows, doors, partitions, or decorative panels.
6. Collaboration:
• Work closely with our design and sales teams. Understand their specific needs and preferences regarding the digital samples.
• Provide them with the necessary files for presentations, client meetings, and marketing materials.
7. Continuous Learning:
• Stay informed about the latest digital archiving practices and technologies.
• Suggest improvements to our digitization process, whether it’s adopting new software tools or refining existing workflows.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proficiency in photography, image editing software, and digital asset management.
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills.
• Background in interior design or a related field would be advantageous.
We believe that your role will bridge the gap between our rich artistic heritage and the modern digital landscape. we’d love to have you on our team!
