Responsibilities:
- Obtain competitive quotes, effect purchases, and secure timely delivery for marine products and services. Ensure compliance with procurement specifications.
- Coordinate between clients and service providers. Arrange service engineers to attend vessel servicing. Facilitate technical assistance between vessels and vendors for ordering correct spares.
- Monitor service progress to ensure minimal disruption and demurrage. Maintain high service quality standards.
- Identify and negotiate with marine services providers. Onboard approved vendors onto the company's e-commerce platform.
- Identify, arrange, and follow up on off-land items from vessels for repair or service.
- Assist superintendents in dry docking and related activities.
- Update and maintain accuracy of vessel forms, plans, drawings, and DNV ship manager for PMS jobs/spares and inventories.
- Ensure all activities comply with company regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare technical reports related to procurement, service coordination, and vessel maintenance.
- Work closely with the technical team, superintendents, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Marine Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Min 1 year of experience in a Marine Industry.
- Familiarity with ship manager software systems (e.g., DNV, Amos, PAL, Bassnet).
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Accuracy in documentation and adherence to procurement specifications.
