Gold Star Aviation is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for Private Jet – BBJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, prepare and issue all maintenance work packages, and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed and recorded as maintenance records.
- Request quotation from MRO for schedule/unscheduled tasks, and follow up with maintenance performed by MRO and ensure all tasks are performed I.A.W. regulatory requirement and ensure quoted man hours are justified.
- Conduct audits of completed paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate and liaise with service providers for long and short term maintenance planning and support.
- Ensure prompt response to BBJ maintenance requests and general inquiries.
- Aircraft Maintenance Program development and management, reliability monitoring and rectification planning
- Airworthiness Directives (AD) evaluation and compliance monitoring
- Manufacturer Service Document evaluation and suggestion
- Maintenance activities workload forecast.
Requirements:
- Applicant must hold either FAA A&P Mechanic License, CAAS or EASA.
- Must have attended EASA APPROVED maintenance type training course -B737NG(600,700,800).
- Have worked on B737NG aircraft for minimum of 5 years.
- Has been certifying maintenance tasks for minimum of 3 years.
- Knowledge of T7 regulations and industry standards.
- Post-Secondary education in Engineering or related discipline
- Able to use MYBOEING FLEET to access manuals.
- Able to do minor maintenance tasks, before/after flight checks, NAV DATA updates and provide certificate of release to service.
- Based in Singapore and need to travel occasionally as an on-board engineer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Must be a team player and able to work alongside with company staffs, cabin and flight crew.
- Ability to work under pressure with good decision making.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in corporate jet engineering and/or CAMO engineering.
