Job Scope:
Seeking an independent and passionate Amazon Web Services - AWS Cloud Specialist to be part of Cloud implementation projects.
Mandatory Skill-set:
· Degree in Computer Science, Technology or related field
· At least 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure role with 2 years in Amazon cloud related experience
· Hands on experience in AWS Services (EC2, Network, ELB, S3/EBS, etc.)
· Experience in implementing cloud automation with application deployment
· Solid expertise in designing and deployment of cloud based solutions using Terraform, Ansible, cloud formation
· Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
· Experience in CI/CD frameworks like Puppet, Maven, AWS Code Commit, AWS CodeDeploy
· Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling
· Strong communication skills to interact with various audiences and groups, whether technical, business or executive
· Flexible to work on weekends and non-business hours
· Desired Skill-set
· AWS Certifications.
Responsibilities:
· Design, test and implement Cloud based system architectures for Amazon Web Services
· Provide technical expertise to define and support the delivery of applications leveraging a cloud based architecture
· Consolidate accounts in AWS organisations along with defining policies and standards for AWS organisation
· Design transformations of on-premise connectivity to public cloud
· Actively involved in Virtual private cloud (VPC) architecture
· Develop architecture to ensure system stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability
· Evaluate and recommend technology or solution based on technical capabilities, functionalities, costs vs benefits and risks criteria;
· Define, document and communicate AWS cloud management activities and inventory;
Continually grow and develop new skills for hybrid cloud.
