Job Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise Development: The role involves becoming proficient in client informatics products, encompassing understanding existing and new software platforms' configurations and features.
- Product Advocacy and Support: Acting as a key advocate for client informatics products, the individual supports pre-sales activities conducted by subsidiaries and distributors in the APAC region.
- Sales Support and Consultation: Providing pre-sale support to the field sales team entails assisting in positioning appropriate informatics product solutions and advising on optimal configurations to meet customer needs.
- Distributor Assistance: Supporting distributors by engaging with customers, addressing technical pre-sale inquiries, and potentially facilitating customer demonstrations.
- Customer Alignment and Value Proposition: Understanding customer workflows to demonstrate how client informatics products align with their needs, thereby emphasizing the value proposition.
- Competitor Analysis Contribution: Contributing insights for competitor analysis in markets with similar products, aiding in understanding competitive landscapes and informing strategic decisions.
- Training and Materials Development: Providing training and developing materials, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as required to enhance product understanding and support customer needs effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Marketing/Business Development experience for Chromatography Data System (CDS) and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), involving field activities in direct sales or distributor environments (preferably with experience in Analytical Instrument vendors and the Life Science industry).
- Preferred experience working in regulated environments within the Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industry.
