Our client, a Japanese financial institution, is looking for an Analyst/Associate Director to monitor their private equity investments. The successful candidate should have similar industry experience or international subsidiary management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring existing investments
- In consultation with Tokyo Head Office, to monitor and report for each company in their Private Equity investments which are located in India and Southeast Asia region.
- Communicate with each company, analyze information, gather related information from public
- Draft reports and fulfil tasks as requested by Asia Oceania regional management
・Examples of tasks include:
- Brief details of the board meeting / the shareholder meeting beforehand to relevant senior management
- Create presentation slides about the results of the board meeting / the shareholder meeting
- Make presentations for monitoring committee of each company
- Brief report when each company has a corporate action or release / news which affect our investment performance significantly.
- Evaluate business performance for each company - Make arrangements when Asia Oceania regional management decides to exit the investment
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- One of following criteria:
・At least 2 years of working experience in investment management roles in financial industry or private equity firms
・At least 2 years of working experience in investment banking field (M&A valuation, accounting, legal)
・At least 2 years of working experience for subsidiary management in Head office.
・Academic background in investment management - Professional mindset with high sense of responsibility toward making profit through investment activity
- Strong attitude towards learning new things beyond comfort zone
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel (formulas, graphs and vlookup)
- Japanese language proficiency at basic conversational level (N3) is a good to have to communicate when reporting to regional company.
