Job Description
- Manage and lead a team of engineers, coordinators and draftsman for a D&B project.
- Manage the domestic C&S consultants to meet project program, design deliverables, and ST submission
- Manage, evaluate and advise on appropriate civil and structural engineering solutions proposed by consultants to meet the project objectives, requirements, budget, specifications and code requirements.
- Review and value-add to the designs/specifications/drawings submitted by consultants and contractors to ensure structural integrity, quality, compliance and value for money
- Oversee structural works, coordinate with client's, consultants and sub-contractors on structural matters
- Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team and conduct inspections on site to ensure that the civil and structural engineering works carried out by the contractors meet the desired quality/workmanship, specifications, code requirements and the projects are completed on time and within budget
- Lead and manage C&S project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes
- Assist and supervise the preparation of structural coordination and rebar shop drawings for the project to be used on site for production
- Monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to production team
- Issuance of RFI & Site-Design Amendments
- Ensure timely completion and good quality of works
- Any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as may be assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as structural manager role. Experience in PPVC D&B projects is a plus
- Degree holder in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Skill in Autocad & Revit is a plus
