As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our project team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical systems within our data centre construction team. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all electrical engineering aspects of our projects are executed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and review electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution systesm, emergency backup systems, and energy efficiency measures, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with the designers, other project engineers, construction managers, and local authorities to integrate electrical systems effectively within the project design.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections and meetings with contractors and stakeholders to monitor progress and address any technical issues promptly.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in electrical engineering and data centre construction to drive innovation and efficiency in our projects.
- Prepare and present technical reports, design proposals, and project updates to senior management and clients.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and communicate regularly with the project team and stakeholders, including client representatives, to report progress and resolve any electrical engineering issues.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and comprehensive, maintaining records of electrical designs, calculations, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure all electrical engineering work adheres to environmental policies and promotes sustainable practices.
