Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Prepare, rig and derig engine from stand to test bed and vice versa
- Carry out Engine Tests per Engine Manual
- Prepare, compile and back up test data
- Carry out troubleshooting and rectification of engine faults, including requesting for spares as required
- Perform basic troubleshooting on engine test cell Data Acquisition & Control System (DACS) for faults encountered
- Ensure all equipment used for engine testing are within calibration and full serviceability
- Any other tasks as assigned by superiors
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC in engineering and above
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aviation industry (experience in engine shop environment preferred)
- Good understanding of airworthiness regulations and requirements e.g. FAA, EASA, CAAS and other NAAs
- Experience and good understanding of QMS, SMS and AS9100, OHS45001
- Comfortable with using and understanding the engine test cell Data Acquisition & Control System (DACS)
- Capability or prior experience and training in Boroscope Inspection, Boroblend would be an added advantage
- Familiarity of inspection methods, techniques and equipment would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of problem resolution tools and LEAN will be advantageous.
- Must be able and willing to work on shifts
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Tableau will be advantageous.
