Your role

We're looking for someone like this to help us. You will:
- oversee the services provided by the Application Delivery team
- lead the development of the Proof-of-Concept, solutions
- provide technical expertise on the development of application software, ensuring the appropriate security & risk factors are considered
- lead Business Analysts and Developers to design and develop software components and to integrate 3rd party software components
- collaborate closely with the Service & Product Managers, Architects and Project Managers
- oversee the third level support to investigate and fix production problems
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to work towards global IT solutions
- manage the relation with our near- and offshore delivery teams
- take pride in the quality of delivered software products and services (this is what drives you)
Your team
You'll be working in the Records and Documents Management IT (RDM IT) team in Singapore as part of the organization that is managing the memory of our bank: Not only are we maintaining 40+ archives around the
globe, we are also responsible for the scanning and capturing solutions of the bank and we maintain more than 6'000 official forms of UBS. We are a truly global, diverse and multicultural organization, which we regard to be one of
our strengths. You will be working with colleagues that are distributed around the globe on complex and challenging solutions and projects that are using top notch technologies.
Your expertise
You have:
- 5 years+ experience in IT engineering and application development
- know-how of agile development practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.)
- experience in integrating 3rd party software into an enterprise environment
- experience in managing globally spread resources and knowing about possibly related cultural aspects
- rational and analytical approach to problem solving, issue investigation and resolution
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
- strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and the desire to work as part of a global team
You are:

- used to communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business and senior leadership
- used to work independently, handle multiple tasks and projects and adapt to a constantly changing environment
