Job Responsibilities:
Research assistant for a project focused on sensemaking in math education:
· Help with data collection, tabulation and analyses,
· Assist with literature review and development of resources for teacher professional development,
· Help with logistics, study planning and liaising with schools.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree and previous research experience with human subjects (e.g., working with quantitative and qualitative data)
· Strong analytical skills to systematically synthesize literature (e.g., Google Scholar), Proficiency in working with Excel,
· Willingness to learn new tools such as Qualtrics (for survey design) and JASP (for statistical analysis), Organizational and project management skills for coordinating logistics and project scheduling. You will gain practical experience in doing research with human subjects, and develop proficiency in research methods, data collection and effective research communication.
