Job Scope
Assist HOD Corporate Services to drive the overall organisation’s communications strategy and plan in managing, marketing and company communications. Involve in planning and development of effective fundraising campaigns, and build good relationships with donors and community partners.
Main Job Role:
- Communications and Marketing Plan (internal and external stakeholders)
- Relationship and Partnership Development (donors, fundraising activities)
- Collaborate with Community Partners for branding and outreach activities
- Annual Fundraising and Donor Management Plan
Duties and responsibilities include:
A. Communications and Marketing Plan
- Plan and develop the annual communication and marketing and social media plan to brand the company’s programme and services
- Plan and develop all aspects of branding and social media plan across all our platforms
- Produce original content and continue building up our internal record of community based stories by interviewing individuals and corporates and partners
- Plan and develop the company’s publications ie newsletter, annual reports and oversee the marketing channels for distribution
- Plan the online and traditional fundraising campaigns and electronic direct mailers (EDMs)
- Manage all communications and media related enquiries and events
- Build relationships and pitch stories with target brand ambassadors, various media platforms, traditional & digital for branding purposes
- Manage the communication and marketing budget
- Review the communication and marketing processes for improvement
- Provide training or guidance to junior team members
- Involve in cross team project development and support
B Relationship Partnership Development
- Plan and develop the company annual fundraising and donor management plan at targeted audience
- Build and manage key donor accounts and segmentation (new and existing)
- Manage the donor lifecycle to identify, engage and retain donors
- Identify and develop new partnerships in fundraising and donors engagement
- Review the work process for fundraising and donors engagement for improvement
- Collaborate with other community partners to enhance fundraising efforts and relationship building
Technical Competencies:
- Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
- 2-3 years related work experience in Marketing or Sales or Journalism
- Experience in fundraising or donor management in the charity sector is advantageous.
