Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to troubleshoot, overhaul,and repair the main type of turbocharger i.e., MAN, ABB, MITSUBISHI, KBB and etc.
- Perform field service job as Team Leaderi.e., dismantling and assembling of TC, lifting and shifting of the TC components
- Must able to do workshop jobs i.e.,blasting of rotor, compressor wheels etc.
- Must be knowledgeable in operating Schenck Balancing Machine CAB920 for rotors
- Oversee and supervise team membersand make them understand the job scopebasis customer’s requirements.
- Must able to plan and prepare forupcoming jobs including parts,information, personal hand tools, specialOEM tools, and consumables i.e., chainblocks, rotor stands and lifting belts/ wireslings and materials required to completejob.
- Must able to communicate with thecustomer to address complaints, resolveproblems and complete work scopeswhile on-site or on board.
- Must be able to document all workperformed in detailed reports with allmeasurements and activities included.
- Execute proper risk assessment prior tostarting the job at worksite
- Maintain safe and clean workingenvironment before/during and after thejob
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum ITE Certificate.
- Minimum of 5-year relevant experience
- Technical training from Makers will be an added advantage
- Able to work during weekends and oddhours
- Able to travel overseas
- Willing to work in Tuas area
- Overtime will be as per prevailing MOM guidelines
