Job Description:
As the IT Operations Manager, you will oversee the seamless functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure, leveraging a robust background in ITIL practices and hands-on development expertise to enhance our bank's IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- IT Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the bank's IT systems.
- ITIL Implementation: Enforce and sustain ITIL best practices, covering incident management, problem management, change management, and service level management.
- Development Support: Provide technical support to the development team, ensuring compliance with best practices, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
- Incident and Problem Management: Lead resolution of IT incidents and problems, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to minimize downtime and uphold business operations.
- Change Management: Oversee the change management process, guaranteeing meticulous planning, testing, and execution with minimal service disruption.
- Service Level Management: Monitor and report on IT service performance against SLAs, identify areas for enhancement, and execute corrective measures.
- Vendor Management: Handle relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and service level expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and optimization of IT operations to foster efficiency and cost savings.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification: Mandatory possession of ITIL certification (ITIL Foundation, ITIL Practitioner, or higher).
- Experience: 8 to 12 years in IT operations management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Development Skills: Demonstrated hands-on development experience in languages such as Java or Python.
- Security: Proficiency in IT security principles and best practices.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with "run the bank" principles; advantageous to have knowledge of cloud technology.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities; strong communication and leadership skills.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities.
