Job Description
• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
• Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
• Assist in negotiation of sub-contractors packages and preparation of sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters
• Prepare contract documents for control and implementation of contract administration and reviews commercial aspects of contract and agreement with clients & sub-contractors
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
Requirements
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence
· Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently
· Diploma/Degree/Master in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA , Possess quantity surveying skills is a plus
· Experience in a marine construction company is favourable
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad
