Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and design of various project elements including basic design, statutory approvals, raw material/utility specifications, equipment specifications, construction work progress, commissioning, start up and product quality.
- Collaborates with contractor to track the project progress and collectively adjust the project plan to ensure effective completion based on defined project success measures.
- Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the projects and team members.
- Report monthly progress status.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering – preferably Chemical engineering or Chemical.
- At least 15 years working experience in manufacturing or technical section - preferred in chemical industry.
- Speaking English and preferably Japanese.
- Knowledge and experience in project management and new plant installation.
