As a Regional Freight Sales Director required to work closely with the Regional Sales team to help increase their capabilities both commercially and operationally. The candidate will report to the Regional Managing Director, SEA & Oceania.
This role will be responsible for the Regional Sales Team P&L, sales, account management, talent acquisition and development, and regional industry relations. This role will also be expected to create and execute strategies that drive continuous growth in both volume and profitability and will play a key role in the evolution of enterprise vision, strategy, process and ensuring the achievement of company goals.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a regional sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support
· Identify market opportunities and potential customers to expand the regional client base.
· Set and communicate sales targets, ensuring team members are aligned with company goal
· Develop accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on regional sales performance
· Work with the team to drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building
· Drive revenue growth by securing new business and expanding existing accounts
· Responsible for Regional Team profitability of the company’s P&L
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree with relevant field of studies
· Min. 8 years of sales experience or in an equivalent sales management/Director role
· Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach
· Ability to travel within the region as required
