Your Responsibilities
This role will provide team leadership for End User Compute team members and requires both hands-on delivery of support and responsibility for overseeing delivery of support across regional locations. The job split is as follows:
- End User Computing Support (Weight 60%) – Resolve incidents and action requests for end user computers, computer peripherals and phones.
- Networking and Data Centre Teams Support (Weight 10%) – Provide in-country assistance to the global Networking and Data Centre Services teams for purchasing and hands-on-wires support
- Project Support (Weight 10%) – Provide in-country support for the execution of projects.
- Leadership (Weight 20%) - Overseeing delivery of support in all [country/region] locations and managing those Support Delivery team members based in Singapore, Philippines, Japan etc.
Your Profile
- 5+ years working experience in support of end user hardware and software
- ITIL certification preferred
- Experience in using a ticketing tool for managing incidents and requests
- Setting up computers, computer peripherals and phone handset on end user desks
- Computer management in Active Directory
- Imaging computers with a standard operating environment (SOE)
- Installing software
- Configuring printers and installing printer drivers
- Basic configuration of Windows 10 and 11 operating environments
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in using Apple iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads
- Installing network and server equipment in racks (hardware only)
- Patching network cables to switches
- Interfacing with vendors for the procurement of hardware or requesting support
- Providing IT advice and training to end users in line with company guidelines, policy and standards
- Supervising and coaching team members
