Job Description:As an Airframe Engineer specializing in Static Stress or Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT), you will be responsible for analyzing and providing solutions for both simple and complex Primary Structural Elements (PSEs) of Fuselage Structures for Aircraft Passenger (PAX) to Freighter (P2F) conversion programs. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the customer by substantiating Static or F&DT stress for design deviations through Engineering Authorizations, adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Extracting geometric details from CATIA models to support analysis.
  • Ensuring all solutions meet customer requirements, delivering high-quality F&DT justifications within specified time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Assisting the Offshore Engineering team by providing necessary geometric data.
  • Executing tasks according to project requirements.

Job Requirements:To qualify for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A solid understanding of Fuselage structure.
  • Familiarity with AIRBUS methods, processes, and terminologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Static Stress or F&DT Analysis of Fuselage Structures, using a variety of legacy and harmonized methods and tools (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in CATIA tool.
  • Knowledge of Design Deviations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customer representatives and the Offshore Engineering Team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
