- Assess, analyse, plan, treat and evaluate patients to optimize recovery.
- Assist in the co-ordination and delivery of lectures, training and in-service programmes.
- Guide junior staff on performance of duties to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Participate as a member of the health team via attending relevant ward / unit rounds, clinics, meetings and in research and work improvements activities.
- Supervise students on clinical attachment.
- Assist with set up of centres to be Day Rehab Centres and run it.
- Maintain inventories.
- Maintain equipment and keep treatment area tidy.
- Participate in public education activities.
- Participate in activities that contribute towards the improvement of the quality of patient care.
- Perform such other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy or passed the Qualifying Exam in Singapore and fully registered with AHPC, Singapore.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare environment.
- Self-motivated to keep up-to-date with advances in the field of occupational therapy.
- Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures, maintaining a high level of quality service.
- Applicants must be willing to travel across Singapore.
