Responsibilities & Duties:
- Plan, design, and coordinate civil engineering, infrastructural design works with contractors/project teams.
- Review / Develop design drawings and documents in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate and liaise with other consultants for the discipline activities to achieve the overall project design objectives in the most efficient manner.
- Manage and communicate with internal/external project teams including relevant Authorities and relevant parties about design works and project schedule.
- Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices.
- Monitor and update design schedule regularly.
- Attend project meetings, site inspections and consultation sessions.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior(s).
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (Certificates must be recognized by PE Board).
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience. Relevant experience in construction planning and program coordination in LTA railway and road projects would be advantageous.
- Familiar with Codes of Practice, relevant regulations and submission requirements.
- Highly experienced and proficient in the use of Primavera P6 for project planning.
- Competent user of relevant design software such as Plaxis, Tekla Structure Designer, Tekla TEDDS, Autodesk-Robot Analysis.
- Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for senior positions.
- The salary package is commensurate with working experience.
