The Quantity Surveyor will work with the Wolf Design manager on design and design & build projects for across Singapore and Asia Pacific and support the growth of our interior design capability and supporting budget planning , project cost submission including PDA submission
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for all conventional aspects of project cost support of both design and design & build of a project. Plans and conducts evaluation selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard construction cost, techniques and procedures on a project. Project Profit tracking , SOW and closing of project accounts
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standard in costing documentation , pitch cost budget and detail SOW submission
- Carry out work plans for each project, managing cost and technical support delivery.
- Day to day responsibility as supporting role for developing project cost, based on the programming requirements and budget parameters and coordinating project documentation.
- Coordinates with outside vendor in material resource and selection for project
- Develop high quality contract documentation specifications and tender documenting
- Develop of construction and furnishings documentations.
- Assist and support the design team in delivering of project and design pitch presentation documents
- Contact with the client for all project design related matters, manage client requests to ensure we are providing an exemplary service to our customers, and assist with building client relations.
- Review and evaluation of vendor cost submission accuracy
- Perform other related duties as and when required.
- Learn CBRE’s proprietary finance and PDA tools.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Relevant and appropriate experience in QS roles within reputable design firms or fit out construction firms
- Substantial experience with workplace interiors
- Advanced experience with FF&E
- Experience with interior design specifications
- Team Player, self motivation, eager to learn
- Design and build project experience
- Experience with costing sheets, excel
Qualification, Education & Experience:
- 4yr+ years in design industry with relevant experience
