We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our client's team in Singapore. You will be responsible for creating network diagrams, developing documentation, deploying Cisco switches, configuring DNA Center, designing network management solutions, tracing servers for troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber optic cabling, all while providing hands-on support with the customer's Senior Network Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Create low-level and high-level network diagrams to visualize network architecture.
- Develop detailed As-built documentation from scratch to accurately reflect network configurations.
- Deploy Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches in data centres for seamless operation and optimal performance.
- Configure and deploy DNA Center, contributing to the overall efficiency of network management.
- Design and implement Out-of-Band and in-band network management solutions for Cisco Switches.
- Trace servers across data centers and racks, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of the fiber optic cabling.
- Work on-site to assist the customer's Senior Network Engineer, providing hands-on support.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating network diagrams and As-built documentation from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switch deployment in data center environments.
- Proficiency in deploying DNA Center and designing network management solutions.
- Ability to trace servers across data centers and racks.
- Skills in designing and deploying Out-of-Band and in-band network management for Cisco Switch.
- In-depth knowledge of fiber optic cabling.
- Ability to trace servers connected to switches from data center to data center and rack to rack.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
