Responsibilities:


1. Research & Advocacy

a) Project Management

  • Assist in collating information and data, planning, organising and implementing events or campaigns when opportunities for advocacy arise
  • Assist Project Manager in project planning and execution of project(s)
  • Provide support and monitoring for survey project(s) in adherence to project timeline
  • Ensure smooth execution of project(s)
  • Assist with funding applications

b) Research Assistance

  • Assist with curation of literature reviews, data analysis and recommendations
  • Attend meetings, interviews and discussions (including after work-hours and weekends) to produce minutes and capture notes/feedback
  • Liaise with research consultant(s) for continued guidance on review of gathered literature, quantitative and qualitative sample design, refinement of tool, analysis of data and reporting of results
  • Liaise with research vendor for completion of work and matters related to the survey (i.e. questionnaire and interview framework, data collection, administration and management of survey, transcription, findings report)

2) Engagement & Any Other Matters

  • Conceptualise, plan, organise and implement engagement programmes and evaluate programme effectiveness for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with established partner organisations and agencies in event, programme and service delivery, where possible.
  • Develop and manage budgets for programmes
  • Garner sponsorship and funding of community engagement programmes to optimise resources
  • Facilitate the collation of feedback from PPIS members, stakeholders and the community to understand community’s needs address issues of concern to the community.

Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisors or Management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Experience in the social services or non-profit industry with a focus on research (quantitative), communications, community engagement and/or project management is preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player who is able to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and/or tools such as STATA and SPSS
  • Proficiency in tools used for data collation, storage, analytics, visualisation would be a bonus
