Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, performance, regression, integration, and security testing
- Use manual and automated testing tools to execute tests and record results
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to identify and report defects and issues
- Assist in identifying root cause of defects and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure that software solutions meet quality standards, performance requirements and functional specifications
- Provide status reports and test metrics to stakeholders and management
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing or a related field
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C# is an advantage
- Experience with testing web-based and mobile applications is an advantage
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects.
