Business Development (Environmental Projects)
We are seeking an experienced ecologist to join us as a Technical Advisor in our Business Development Team. You will play a critical role in providing scientific expertise and guidance to the business development team, ensuring that our solutions are based on sound ecological principles and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of wildlife, habitat and environmental management, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into practical solutions for our clients.
Your Role:
· Serve as the primary technical resource for the business development team, providing expert advice on wildlife, ecology, and habitat management
· Collaborate with the business development team to prepare and present proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of our services and demonstrating our expertise in wildlife hazard management while keeping to best practices and regulatory requirements
· Develop and deliver training programmes and educational materials on wildlife hazard management best practices for airport personnel and other stakeholders
· Represent Mastermark at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to raise brand awareness and give technical insights
· Stay current on emerging technologies and analyse market data to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies with the Business Development team to capitalize on them
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including airport managers, aviation authorities, and industry partners
You will ideally have
· Bachelors degree in Business, Environmental Science or related discipline
· Certified in ICAO Wildlife Hazard Management or equivalent
· Min 2 year experience in Business Development or account management within the aviation or environmental consulting industry
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Great presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
· Be a strong team player and an effective collaborator
