- Configuration Management : Ansible, Chef
- Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure), and how you can achieve that by using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
- Hands-on knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
- Working knowledge of AWS Services IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and coming trends in the Cloud space
- Hands-on subject matter expert for DevOps and Automation in an AWS/Azure infrastructure environment.
- Work with business units , software developers and security to design and build applications and services within AWS and other cloud providers.
- Provide daily monitoring , management , building and decommissioning virtual machines, troubleshooting and issue resolution to systems and services hosted on the cloud resources.
- Assist business development teams with pre-sales activities. Building and deploying applications by adopting DevOps practices such as Continuous development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment in runtime with various tools like Git ,Maven (pom.xml), Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes and managing cloud services with AWS & Azure.
- Creating and maintaining Infrastructure for Applications in AWS
- Extensive experienced defining IT Roadmap, cloud strategy, Enterprise/solution architecture, Architecture assessment.
- Good knowledge on Application Migrations and Data migrations from On[1]premise to AWS Cloud.
- Strong Knowledge creating MAVEN with Puppet build script for Deployment. Expertise in Docker containerized environment, hosting web servers on containers, building docker images using Docker file
- Administration various environments in software development life cycle (SDLC) Windows,Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux and CentOS
- Estimating AWS costs and identifying cost control mechanisms.
- Upgrading ESX4.0 to ESXi 5.0, 5.0 to 5.5, 5.5 to 6.0 and 6.5
- Migrate complete infra which is running on VMware 5.5 to 6.0
- Install Update manager and configure , Perform patching of All ESXi hosts
