Responsibilities
• Handles import & export shipments (by sea/air/courier)
• Liaise with overseas suppliers & forwarding agents for shipment arrangements.
• Checking of shipping documents (BL, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Phytosanitary Certificate, permits)
• Preparing export documentations (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Phytosanitary Certificate, COO)
• Work closely with Purchasing & Warehouse team
• Liaise with local/oversea forwarders to plan & arrange shipments clearance & deliveries
• Ad-hoc data entry & admin duties
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS & experience in handling shipments is COMPULSORY.
- Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum Diploma holders
- at least 2-3 years working experience in trading company
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Good organizational, planning, co-ordination & interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of MS office, proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of Navision System is an added advantage
- English & Mandarin, both spoken & written fluently, to liaise with overseas counterpart
- Independent, highly motivated & a good team player
- Willing to learn & possess a positive working attitude
