Job Responsibilities:
- Manage sales operations within designated territories.
- Maintain customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate engineering support for sales activities.
- Meet sales targets in collaboration with the Managing Director.
- Engage with potential customers including agents, shipyards, owners, and consultants.
- Align sales priorities with the company’s marketing strategy.
- Provide input to ensure product range meets market needs.
- Negotiate contracts under favorable market conditions.
- Participate in public relations events with marketing counterparts.
- Contribute to exhibitions, demonstrations, and trade shows.
- Prepare and deliver quotations following established procedures.
- Process orders according to current guidelines.
- Assist in ensuring accurate ordering during internal contract reviews.
- Gather market intelligence to inform company strategy.
- Assist in developing sales plans and budgets with the Global Sales Director.
- Advise on and enforce sales policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in roles such as Sales Manager or Inside Sales.
- A minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marine Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
- Previous experience in sales within the marine or fire industry is a requirement.
- A self-motivated and proactive individual.
- A creative thinker with the ability to innovate.
- Good network connections with ship owners and ship managers.
- Familiarity with fire safety equipment is advantageous, though not obligatory.
