Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor, plan and schedule maintenance of tanker fleet including dry dock, according to instructions and timeline.
- Perform service maintenance, troubleshoot technical problems, and repair all equipment/machinery assigned.
- To check and review all purchase requisitions raised by the vessel engine department.
- To check, review and work out the action plan of all engine defects.
- Update and keep accurate records of service and repair works.
- Assist Technical Supt in monitoring the Class and Flat State requirements, planning the require surveys for vessels.
- Provide assistance to Technical Supt to prepare for dry-docking repair specifications.
- Source and recommend suppliers for all purchases.
- Update of repair cost and schedule for repairs.
- Maintain and upkeep technical manuals, maintenance and inventory record, drawings, catalogues from makers and yards.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Certificate of Competency Class-5 with sailing experiences on tankers as Engineer is preferred.
- Minimum 3-4 years working experiences as Technical for tankers vessels in ship management company.
- Past marine or engineering experience will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge in vessel machinery, equipment and system an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.
