Program Assistant Manager (APAC)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the single-threaded leader of the team, the person who is 100% dedicated and accountable to the success of the business initiatives.
  • Learn and understand the domain at a deep level, build self over time to be one of the credible experts in the company.
  • Lead the planning, discussions, implementation of various initiatives from inception to completion. Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, and resources.
  • Manage project deliverables, adjust plans as necessary, resolve project hurdles, liaising with senior management and other stakeholders as necessary. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, with the right scope, within budget, through expectations that are managed appropriately.
  • Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders and partners. Ensure that they remain informed and aligned, through the various cadences ongoing within the company.
  • Mentor and guide the team members, contribute to their professional growth, maintain high performance standards, demand the best from the team.
  • Onboarding of add-on customer business to existing customer program, coordinating across stakeholders and supporting functional units.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field.
  • More than 10 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a technology-oriented organization.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, working with other teams, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational awareness, ability to discern human dynamics and relationships, ability to adapt as necessary.
  • Good awareness of technology, finance, and product management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese (Liaising with Chinese-speaking clients). Min GCE "O" Level Chinese.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
  • Travel is a must.
