Core Responsibilities:

Business Development & Business Support

  • Support Broking Manager/Management in performing full spectrum of insurance broking tasks and processes
  • Support new business development, preparing and obtaining of insurance quotations
  • Liaising and follow up with insurer partners on timeliness of quotation to customers
  • Servicing of new and existing clients for all insurance needs
  • Ensure renewals are closely monitored, follow-up and renewed promptly
  • Understanding clients’ business, enquiries, insurance needs and claim assistance advice
  • Propose suitable insurance advice & solutions in a timely manner
  • Conduct product training to team members
  • Prepare proposals for presentations to clients

Partners and Clients Management

  • Liaise and build strong professional relationships with insurers and clients
  • Negotiate with insurance company for best rates and terms, make offer to customers, follow-up and close the sales
  • Present proposal and explain risk coverage to clients
  • Ensure timely risks placement and coverage with insurance company and see through to complete policy issuance
  • Prepare monthly production reports and business updates
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignments as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Insurance/ACII
  • Or Degree holder in any course of studies
  • Preferably minimum 3 years general insurance broking experience
  • Experienced and strong commercial line product knowledge
  • Achiever and result-oriented
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Meticulous, good problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic, team player and pro-active working attitude
