Job Description:
- Support the day-to-day running of the trading desk
- Maintain detailed position summary for the traders and matrix as a whole
- Monitor traders’ exposures and ensure that the exposures are properly documented and calculated in a consistent manner
- Monitor and follow-up on hedge positions for futures that are near expiry
- Provide commentary on the daily profitability reports to explain P&L movements
- Perform adhoc analysis as required by the traders
Requirements:
- Diploma holder and above
- At least 6 - 7 years of work experience in a financial institution/ accounting firm
- Highly numerate with a strong ability to work with numbers and large data sets
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of the oil industry/ financial markets/ trade life cycle will be advantageous
- Experience working with a trade capture system is desirable
