Job Description:
- Handling all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Process customer’s orders/ enquiries timely and accurately and timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
- Handling LCL documentation
- Monitor vessel schedule via PSA PortNet, SATS or SIA
- Ensure all customers’ standard operating procedures are followed and updated
- Liaison work with drivers, customers, external vendors and etc
- Manage all customer enquiries
- Resolve operational issues encountered
- Plan, arrange and monitor the deliveries and shipments of the loose cargo
- Identify any risk factors that may impact efficiency and safety during transport execution
- Coordinate closely with the drivers and team of internal coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient transportation
- Review daily transport operational activities and ensure all delivery activities are carried out within schedule in a very efficient and cost-effective manner
- Schedule vehicles for routine servicing / repairs / LTA inspection
- Meet compliance at all times
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Customer Service (Transportation Industry)
- Familiar with PSA PortNet, SATS or SIA
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics & Supply Chain (Transportation industry preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
- Reasonable knowledge of Singapore roads, yard and port operations
- Ability to perform under a fast-paced and performance driven environment
- Able to work independently with pro-active attitude
- Ability to communicate with one other languages a plus
- Good communication and customer service skills
