Responsibilities
- Assist Production Scheduler for the Singapore Site.
- Assist in production planning for manufacturing sites, including production scheduling and raw material supply planning, taking into account of the product quantities to be manufactured and production datelines.
- Stand in for scheduler to liaise with Customer Service Representatives and IBP team pertaining to customers requirements / deliveries.
- Inventory Management for Raw and Packaging Materials.
- Assist in purchasing all chemicals (raw materials) and packaging materials (drums/IBCs) for production.
- Assist to manage SAP transactions pertaining to production.
- Production Scheduling/Planning
- Stand in for production planning and ensure raw material availability based on Demand Forecasts provided by IBP team.
- Communicate and liaise production schedule to the Operations. Stay on top of the production schedule adherence to deliver Production OTIF (on-time, in-full).
- Supporting customer related enquiries as well as working closely with Customer Service Representatives on daily basis.
- Assist in scheduling and purchasing all raw materials/packing materials, non-stock items and services for the site. This includes monitoring raw materials arrival to ensure timely delivery to eliminate impacts on production schedule adherence.
- Work with 3rd Party Logistics pertaining to all movements on raw / packaging materials between Singapore port, plant and 3rd party warehouse
- Assist in managing and controlling finished products inventories
- To maintain safety stocks on raw / packaging materials as when required
- Have monthly/bimonthly meeting with Supply Chain to monitor stock inventories and to maintain at targeted inventories levels
- Manage all monthly stock inventory count and handle all inventories recording in SAP. Work with Operation to resolve all discrepancies found and ensure verification of all items that may impact inventory accuracy. Manage stock reconciliation report and handle all stock reconciliation transaction in SAP.
- Manage all sampling request to support business growth.
- Work with CSR, Logistic team, operation, QC and 3rd party vendor to ensure sample are available at the right time and deliver on time.
- Handles entries of Process Orders (POs) and other SAP data entry related to manufacturing plant, ensuring Production OTIF > 90%.
- Generating STOs and DNs for transfer of material from point to point.
- Create purchase order for direct/indirect materials.
- Maintain all MRP planning parameters in SAP.
- Support New Products run in Singapore plant. Work with Demand Chain for Product code creation/extension in SAP.
- Overall in charge of external tolling (product packing) instructions and coordination.
- Prepare, facilitate and monitor Intermediates and packaging materials needed for the drumming activities.
- Manage and work with 3rd Party Logistic on lease tanks activities transportation, loading, washing, tank testing, tank returning.
- Vendor creation for onboarding.
- Create purchase order for non-direct material and servicing and perform GRN on regular basis.
- Any ad hoc administrative matters as assigned to.
- Be involved in a participative in site HSE&S efforts. This may include but not limited to involvements in LSR, BBS, SAQ, safety committee, incident investigation, ERT, safety inspections, internal/local audits, HIRA, hazard studies (HAZOP) and others as deemed necessary by the site management for the continual improvement of site HSE&S performance.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma holder with minimum 3 - 5 years relevant working experience in a petrochemical/chemical manufacturing facility.
- Good organizational, interpersonal/people and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAP & MS Office Applications.
- Awareness of ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and other applicable management systems is preferred.
