- To ensure the safety and well-being of clients under your charge
- To implement and monitor progress of clients' individual Care Plan Goals
- To be responsible and accountable for the overall well-being of clients both in the day activity centre (DAC) and in the community
- To build upon and increase clients’ current abilities vis-à -vis their activities of daily living skills, community living skills, social and interpersonal skills and to integrate them into the community
- To maintain open communication with caregivers on understanding the clients' needs and further development
- To help clients achieve a higher level of emotional maturity
- Relevance working experience of working with People with Disabilities (PWDs) - especially intellectual disability including those with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy
- Good command of English (written and oral)
- Basic computer knowledge especially MS Word and Excel
- Effective communicator
- Sociable with good interpersonal skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and organized
- Adaptable and willing to learn
- Independent as well as a good team player
- Passion, enthusiasm, and strong commitment are essential
