As an Admin Assistant focusing on Permits, you will liaise with customers to obtain clearance instructions and information required to complete customs declarations prior to shipment. What you need to do:
- Submit applications to Singapore Customs, Agent Application for Product Code and Customs Clearance Permit (CCP) through the Tradenet / Tradeweb system
- Declare all types of customs permits and other required processes to facilitate the smooth movement of goods in and out of Singapore in Compliance with the Singapore Customs requirement
- Perform checks in accordance with internal standard operating procedures (SOP), government regulatory requirements, and legislation to identify non-compliance
- Handle Singapore Customs inquiries as required
- Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by HOD and/or management
What you need to have:
- Min. GCE O Level
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in customs permit declaration is preferred
- Well-versed in MS Excel
- Min. knowledge of HS Code
